Maulana is Islam’s Ambassador of Peace to the world. Once someone asked Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, “After you, who? There is only the ‘one’ Wahiduddin.”

He replied:

Only one person is required to develop the ideology. Once this task has been completed, the message will continue to be spread through a dedicated team of individuals with the use of various modern means of communication available in this age.

Ideology of Peace

Maulana Wahiduddin Khan spent his entire life in rediscovering Islam from its original sources. He then went on to learn English and study innumerable books on science and contemporary thought. As a result, he became well versed in both classical Islamic learning and modern science. He came to the conclusion that the need of the hour is to present Islamic teachings in the language of the post-scientific era based on peace and spirituality. To address the mind of the modern man, he presented the ideology of peace, based directly on the Islamic scriptures. He further translated the Quran with a commentary; authored over 200 books, innumerable articles and interfaith material in English, Hindi and Urdu and recorded innumerable lectures in English and Urdu.

Ambassadors of Peace

Driven by his zeal for peace, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan simultaneously commenced activities to share his wisdom with others. He chose to address individuals, the building blocks of society, as he believed that they could change only in this manner. He addressed restless minds, seeking truth and yearning to know the purpose of life. He explained to them that restlessness starts in the mind. This occurs when people become conditioned in living self-oriented lives instead of God-oriented ones. As a result of this unrest, people become negative and react. He reengineered the minds of thousands of individuals towards positive thinking and presented to them the ideology of peace. He explained that peace and spirituality are only two aspects of one truth. Positive thinking at individual level results in spirituality; and positive thinking at collective level results in peace.

Over decades and recently through CPS and its global partners, he has prepared a team of Ambassadors of Peace by re-engineering their minds, using the simple formula:

"Change yourself through spirituality – by living a God-oriented life and you will be able to change the world."

The Ambassadors of Peace have made it their life’s ambition to spread the ideology of peace and spirituality throughout the world. According to Maulana, it is this team of individuals, who standing up to every test, will succeed in bringing about the revolution of peace the world has been waiting for so long.
