The sphere of action of CPS is global. We are using every peaceful method to address the modern, scientific thought of young people and inquisitive minds of all ages, so as to give them an understanding of the ideology of peace and the creation plan of God. These methods include one-on-one interactions; weekly and monthly talks and lectures; seminars, conferences, etc. We also undertake the publication of books; articles; dissemination of on-line material: www.mwk.net, www.cpsglobal.org, www.alrisala.org and www.goodwordbooks.com; broadcasts on television and radio and the distribution of audiovisual material worldwide.

Some of the specific activities of CPS are as follows:

CPS Peace Efforts

At CPS we realize that establishing world peace is the number one priority, as it is the sole path to positive achievement. Realizing that terrorism will persist in one form or another, until the ideology of violence is replaced by an ideology of peace, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan has developed just such a full-fledged ideology of peace, derived directly from the Islamic scriptures. CPS and its global associates draw inspiration from this in their major peace efforts, their aim being to give to the world a practical model of peace at an ideological level, so as to replace the culture of violence with the mentality of peace. CPS and our global partners regularly participate in peace initiatives in India and abroad.

CPS Spirituality Efforts

Spirituality is, indeed, a representation of truth. At CPS, we believe that man is born with an inquisitive nature. Being endowed with a reasoning faculty, he cannot help but question the activities and phenomena that take place around him. According to us, spirituality is based on thinking or contemplation and gives man answers to eternal questions such as, who am I? What is the purpose of my life? What happens after death? etc. CPS and its global partners are making every possible effort to help seekers rationally find answers to questions pertaining to the ideology of life and understand the creation plan of God. When an individual is thus trained in spiritual principles and he gains a rational understanding of the creation plan of God, his life enters a new phase – that of the building of a positive personality in consonance with the Creator’s spiritual principles – another name for which is God-oriented living.

CPS Inter-Faith Efforts

In our endeavour to make a more tolerant world, CPS members organize and participate in inter-faith efforts through lectures, seminars, conferences and one-on-one sessions with Indian and global delegations. We partner with world peace and interfaith organizations with the objective of presenting Islam to them so as to show its true peaceful face. The following is usually the response of many of the delegates once they hear Maulana Wahiduddin Khan:

CPS Weekly Lectures

CPS organizes weekly lectures of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan at the CPS Centre on every Saturday evening in English and every Sunday morning in Urdu. These are attended by people coming from all faiths and all parts of India as well as the globe. The lectures aim at re-engineering minds of individuals towards positive thinking and explaining the Creation Plan of God. These lectures and other regular lectures, both in English and Urdu, are recorded for broadcast and distribution as well. You can go to Events to find the timings. One-on-One Sessions

Maulana Wahiduddin Khan attaches great importance to addressing people at the individual level. He believes that the minds of individuals, the building blocks of society, can only be addressed in this manner. Maulana and the Ambassadors of Peace – CPS and its global partners – regularly address individuals – seekers, intellectuals, spiritual and world leaders and opinion makers with the aim of removing misconceptions about Islam to reveal its true face and explaining the creation plan of God.

Multimedia

According to Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, multimedia provides a global interactive platform to re-engineer minds at the individual level. CPS makes effective use of the Multimedia – Television, Radio, Print, Internet, etc. to address minds.

Program Broadcasts

Maulana’s seminars, conferences, interactive sessions and lectures revealing the spiritual and peaceful side of Islam are recorded on a regular basis. These are packaged and broadcasted on television and radio. The programs are regularly broadcasted on spirituality channels such as Zee Jagran, E TV Urdu in India; Aj TV and Q TV in Pakistan; and ARY Digital in Middle East, USA, Europe and UK. PR Initiatives

Maulana Wahiduddin Khan and some of the Ambassadors of Peace are regular contributors to newspapers and magazines, such as – Hindustan Times, Times of India, Pioneer, Kashmir Images, Greater Kashmir, The Hindu, etc... They are also regularly invited to explain the true face of Islam in various television channels and radio stations such as – BBC, Doordarshan, Star News, NDTV, Aaj Tak, India TV, Sab TV, Jain TV, Total TV, Zee News, etc. and radio stations such as All India Radio and BBC. In fact whenever anyone wants to know what is the true face of Islam; it is Maulana Wahiduddin Khan that they come to.

Webcasting & Online Material

Understanding that the Internet is an extremely potent medium in the world today, CPS and its global partners have launched various websites: www.wkhan.net, www.alrisala.org, www.goodwordbooks.com and www.cpsglobal.org. Through these, Maulana’s translation of the Quran in Urdu, English, Hindi; his magazine, Al Risala; his books and articles in Urdu and English; audios and videos of his lectures in both Urdu and English; e-magazine and e-books are available for all to become aware of the peaceful face of Islam and understand the creation plan of God. The weekly lectures in English on Saturdays and in Urdu on Sundays are being broadcast as live streams. See events for timings. Print Material

Maulana Wahiduddin Khan has translated the Quran in Urdu, English and Hindi. He has also authored more than 200 books on prophetic and spiritual wisdom and peaceful co-existence in a multi-ethnic society. They are also available online in our library. These can be bought online through www.goodwordbooks.com. Goodword Books and CPS also publish small leaflets and booklets of Maulana's writings on general subjects for free distribution. Ambassadors of Peace

Maulana Wahiduddin Khan is an Ambassador of Peace. Driven by his zeal for peace and spirituality he had dedicated his life in presenting the ideology of peace and preparing a team of Ambassadors of Peace so as to present this ideology to the world. He has prepared these ambassadors by re-engineering their minds towards positive thinking. According to Maulana, peace and spirituality are only two aspects of one truth. Positive thinking at individual level results in spirituality; and positive thinking at collective level results in peace. Maulana’s simple formula for re-engineering of minds is:

"Change yourself and you will be able to change the whole world."

Centres of Peace

The Ambassadors of Peace have made it their life’s mission to spread ideology of peace and train more ambassadors. Together, CPS and its global partners are setting up Centres of Peace worldwide with the aim of taking the ideology of peace, spiritual wisdom and positive thinking to every corner of the globe so that it reaches each and every home – big or small.

The centre is uniting peace-loving and spiritual people of the world, using every peaceful method that will be beneficial and helpful in attaining its objective. CPS Vision is to cause the message of peace and spirituality to enter each and every home of the world – big or small, in order to usher in an era of global peace and unity.
