A true seeker looks for God’s signs all around him.

CPS Print

CPS Print has the backing of its partners Islamic Centre, New Delhi, India and Goodword Books, New Delhi, India; who have been publishing the material prepared by Maulana Wahiduddin Khan for the last 30 years. Islamic Centre has been publishing the ‘voice of the mission’, Al Risala Monthly in Urdu since 1976. The magazine has also been translated into Hindi and English and, presently, its English version is published as the Spiritual Message by Haroon B Sheikh, Mumbai, India for an on behalf of Islamic Centre, New Delhi, India. The articles of the magazine are a treasure house of knowledge on prophetic wisdom, ideology of life and the true face of Islam.

Realizing the importance of the correct translation of the Quran, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan completed the translation and commentary of the Quran in Urdu in the form of Tazkirul Quran in the 1980’s. The Hindi translation of this has recently been published and work on its English translation is going on. Upon completion of his research, in 1955, he published his first book, Naye Ahd Ke Darwaze Par, or ‘On the Threshold of a New Era’. This book, the result of his exhaustive studies, was further elaborated upon in his next work, Ilme Jadid Ka Challenge, or ‘Islam and Modern Challenges’, which was later published as ‘God Arises’. The culmination of his research was his book, Al Islam, in which he presented the ideology of Islam in the modern idiom, based on the Islamic Scriptures. Continuing to write since then, he has authored over 200 books.

His book, ‘God Arises’ has been accepted as the standard Islamic position on modern thought and has been incorporated in the curricula of universities in over six Arab countries. It has been translated into various languages, such as English, Arabic, Malay, Turkish, Hindi, Malayalam and Sindhi. Its Arabic version has been published under the title of Al-Islam Yatahadda and has become popular throughout the Arab world. He is at present working on a Hadith compilation and on his autobiography. He continues to write Al Risala articles and is also getting an Encyclopedia of Divine Wisdom compiled under his direction.

CPS Print works in close proximity with its partners Islamic Centre and Goodword Books to achieve the following objectives:

  • To produce a correct translation of the Quran (the word of God) in English with commentary with the objective of making it the ‘identity’ of the centre – of being the first to give to the world a correct translation of the Quran in the modern idiom. This work is almost at its completion stage.
  • To translate the Quran and other books in all Indian regional languages and International languages. Work has been initiated to translate the Quran in Telugu and Kannad. We are looking for partners to get involved in translating the Quran in other Indian and International languages.
  • To translate and publish the remaining material of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, written in Urdu, to present to the world the correct interpretation of the Islamic Scriptures in the modern idiom.
  • To make available for distribution innumerable books, leaflets, booklets and articles to present to the world the Principles of Life, Ideology of Peace, Ideology of Spirituality, Ideology of Life, Ideology of Monotheism, the Ideology of Life for Man, The Reality of Man and the Creation Plan of God so that intellectuals and seekers are able to find rational questions pertaining to the ideology of life and discover the true face of Islam based on peace and spirituality.
