There are many hadith that give predictions about the Signs of the coming of Doomsday or Qayamat.  Doomsday is what both secular thinkers and religious teachers call ‘the end of history’. It is predicted, as a ‘sign of Doomsday’, that before the end of history, Dajjal and Manhdi will appear. Dajjal literally means ‘great deceiver’ or one who is a great deceiver. This means that one who will spread a beautiful ideology and crowds of people will follow him and Manhdi will be one who exposes the ideology as false and deceiving. So, how will we come to know who or what is Dajjal or who or what is Manhdi? What will be their distinguishing identity? It will be based on the result that we will be able to make out whether the ideology is a dajjali ideology or not. It will be Manhdi’s job to expose ideology as a deception. This is one of the signs of Doomsday.
