Problems and sufferings are a part of life. Every man and woman suffers from them. The question is how to deal with them without living in stress. The answer to this is found in the following words given in the Quran: “We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude. Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, ‘We belong to God and to Him we shall return,’” (2:155-156).

Why does a person suffer from mental stress during times of problems and sufferings? This is because he sees it as something that should not have happened. If a man understands that whatever has happened has happened under the law of nature, then he should never suffer mental stress. For example, although winds and rain create problems for a person, he does not suffer from mental stress. He considers it as a natural phenomenon and faces it with patience.

All of life's problems problems occur under the Creator's creative plan. According to the Creation Plan of God everyone has been given freedom of choice. They can either use their freedom properly, or misuse it. When people misuse their freedom, it creates problems for others. If we take problems as a natural part of life, we will consider them a natural phenomenon and face them with patience. Then he will never live in stress.

In general, I can say that normally people think that they should want an ideal life. A woman wants an ideal husband and an ideal family etc. which is not possible in this world. If this law of nature is understood, there will not be any such stress.

I read in the newspaper that Shahrukh Khan travelled to America and for two hours he was detained and checked. People created a lot of hue and cry that Americans should seek forgiveness. I thought that Shahrukh Khan and all others should think that it was only for two hours but soon a day will come when I will be checked for everything and so I should pray that the same happens in the hereafter and we get past quickly. It is because of these things that people take negative lessons. A positive person is one who takes a positive lesson from such instances.
