Keep in mind that every situation has both negative and positive aspects. What happens when any new situation arises?  Satan leads humans towards negative responses. And the angels desire to influence humans towards positive response. Thus, a positive response occurs within a person when they realize they are under the influence of angels. If they respond negatively, it is an indication that they are under Satan's influence. Therefore, a person can recognize himself independently. That's why the Hadith states: "Take stock of yourselves before you are held accountable."(  حَاسِبُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحَاسَبُوا)(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith no. 2459) That is, make yourself accountable before you are questioned by God. Rectify yourself before God calls you to account. One can correct himself by remaining active and vigilant at all times. And as soon as they observe negative thoughts emerging within them, they should understand that it's time for correction. It's time to invite the angel and banish the devil.
