When a person believes in God, that means he has discovered God Almighty. Faith means to find God at the level of discovery. Simply reciting the kalimah or uttering some words does not lead to faith. Faith is a matter of discovery. مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ (5:83) When you realize faith at the level of discovery, angels will descend upon you and give you glad tidings of Paradise. This is a very important verse. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّة

If you have really discovered faith and you become firm in it, then angels will descend upon you and give you good tidings. What is the meaning of giving glad tidings? Angels won’t say: O man, Paradise is for you! Rather this verse means that angels inspire such a person to build a heavenly personality. They trigger such thoughts which help in building a heavenly personality. These angels inspire noble thinking in various situations of your life. For example, if someone provokes you and you become angry, angels inspire you to not get into rage. They help to you swallow your anger. This is a heavenly quality.

If you burn with the desire for revenge, angels inspire you to leave the psyche of revenge. Such people will enter Paradise. When you want to do violence, angels will urge you to not indulge in violence, because a violent person will not enter Paradise.

Paradise is a house of peace. The Quran says: وَاللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى دَارِ السَّلَامِ (10:25) How will you enter the home of peace if you do violence? In the form of inspiration, angels keep motivating a person to behave in certain ways. This is the meaning of the above verse. But when is this possible? This is possible when you are completely free of negative feelings.
