Paradise is for the Truthful

Paradise is a neighbourhood of truthful people. Truthful persons are those who have a strong personality. They say what is in their hearts. They will do what they say. There's no difference between what they say and what they do. Paradise is the neighbourhood of the truthful. There's no place for the dishonest in Paradise. Those who are dishonest, utter lies and don’t fulfil their promise have weak personality. They are hypocrites. God hasn’t made Paradise for such people.

The Quran says: وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُوا (2:177) Virtuous are those who keep their pledges when they make them. What is the difference between an honest and a dishonest person, or insincere and sincere person? If a person is really honest and he makes a promise, he will definitely fulfil the promise. He will not be able to sleep unless he fulfils his promise. One who is dishonest will only speak excessively, but won't fulfil his promise. Once a person came to me and said he wanted admission. He was young and started crying. He said he wanted 15,000 rupees for admission. My companion saw this person crying and felt pity for him. He immediately took out 15,000 rupees and gave to the young person. I asked the person to write down when he would return the money. He wrote that he would return the money on a certain date. But he didn't arrive on that date. I requested someone to remind the person.

He was reminded, but still he didn’t arrive. He even became angry although he hadn't returned the money. A person who doesn’t fulfil his promise is dishonest. Such a person is dishonest and insincere. There is a way to recognize a good person and a bad person. One who fulfils his promise is truthful. He possesses a strong personality. One who doesn’t fulfil his promise and presents excuse is a weak personality. Only a person with strong personality will go to Paradise.

A person with weak personality will never go to Paradise. Paradise is not a junkyard. It is a colony of the truthful: فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ مَلِيكٍ مُقْتَدِرٍ (54:55)

فَأُولَئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ (4:69)
