15. Woman as a Mother

The Prophet of Islam said: “Paradise lies at the feet of mothers.” In her role as a mother, a woman is the greatest benefactor to her children, making her status the highest of all.

As a mother, a woman is the greatest benefactor of her children. In this respect, a mother holds the highest place in a person’s life. This hadith, in fact, emphasizes the truth that acknowledging the good done to us by a benefactor is one of the greatest virtues. A person who possesses the spirit of this virtue will have two qualities at the same time: a deep appreciation of the kindness shown by other human beings, and a profound sense of gratitude to God for His blessings. This very quality is one of the greatest means of attaining Paradise.
